Another Netflix streaming sensation is the delightful dark comedy No Good Deed, which follows husband and wife Paul and Lydia Morgan (Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow) as they attempt to sell their gorgeous and highly coveted Los Angeles Spanish-style villa, with three vastly different families scheming and scamming their way to land the hot commodity property. The Morgans find the selling process complicated when the skeletons in their closet threaten to reveal themselves and cause chaos for the couple.

Touting a stellar ensemble cast that includes Linda Cardellini, Luke Wilson, and Denis Leary, No Good Deed will have couples on the edge of their seats as more dark secrets and thrilling twists and turns are revealed, leaving them wondering what will become of the Morgans and those vying for the home. The Hollywood Reporter wrote in their rave review, “The bold-faced twists are entertainingly ludicrous, the dialogue crackles and there’s enough unspoken anxiety and resignation in Kudrow and Romano’s performance to keep everything grounded.” The series has yet to be approved for a second season, so just be prepared for a bit of disappointment in that regard.

The beauty of watching the sci-fi thriller Black Mirror is that you can pick and choose your episodes because it’s an anthology series. No two episodes deal with the same plot or characters, but after a couple of hours, you’ll quickly find that you want to watch all episodes and will fly through each and every one of them.

Having a sense of dark humor or a healthy appetite for the wrongdoings in our society being exploited will definitely help when you and your partner start this series. Be prepared to have many stimulating conversations at the end of each episode, as they cover a wide array of social issues and do so in spectacular fashion. The show, currently on hiatus, may or may not get another season in the future, depending on what creator Charlie Brooker wants to do with the series.

From the acting to the storylines that focus on character growth, there is a reason Suits stayed on Netflix’s “Top 10” for quite some time and was watched for a total of 57.7 billion minutes in 2023, becoming the streaming service’s most-viewed show of the year. Due to its massive resurgence in popularity, the spin-off series Suits L.A was released on February 23, 2025 starring Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, and Bryan Greenberg, though it was canceled after just one season.

It seems like nearly everyone these days has a “zombie apocalypse plan” in place, but in 2010, Rick Grimes was simply winging it along with everyone else in The Walking Dead. Some characters are easy to love or hate, but then there are the ones who, by some form of sheer luck or will, simply won’t die.

This show is easy to binge with your partner because you will find yourselves taking down notes on what to do and what to avoid when the time comes. From love stories to some of the most gruesome scenes, there is a lot to take in with this series and the ever-growing universe. Couples will experience every emotion there is while watching all of its pulse-pounding seasons, and they root for Rick and the rest of his misfit band of survivors to outlast the undead.

3‘Supernatural’

Watching them juggle their professional and personal lives is ridiculous yet relatable. Picking a favorite seems easy at first, but as characters grow, leave, mess up, and die, preferences shift, and you’ll find yourself likely rooting for someone else. With 22 seasons (and counting), Grey’s Anatomy will take some dedication to get through, and viewers will go on an emotional roller-coaster ride, but it’s quite the journey to go on.
